Cross Cutting Workshops

 

 

Inroduction

Besides the work with the five NGOs involved and benefiting though training directly within the Save the Children Sweden Empowering project other members of the NGO community are invited for workshops on cross-cutting topics.

These enlarged workshops (12 workshops days during the life span of the project) provide an introduction to or training on cross-cutting issues. The working language is Arabic or English, depending on the resource person/specialist.

The following topics/ issues will be covered in the workshops. As workshops are designed to meet the needs of local partners, some topics may be added during the lifespan of the project.

Proposed topics:

  • gender

  • child / human rights based programming

  • corporal punishment,

  • animation tools,

  • quality of education,

The workshops will allow exchange of ideas and experience and should help to establish a common learning process and better networking among local NGOs.
